Tom Wheeler

Thomas Wheeler is a highly experienced class action attorney with a primary focus on plaintiffs' employment law, particularly wage and hour class actions and wrongful termination and discrimination cases. Since beginning his legal career in 2016, Thomas has litigated over 500 cases, representing consumers and workers in cases involving unpaid wages, misclassification, rest and meal period violations, and other labor code breaches. His practice is devoted to advocating for employees' rights, and he has consistently delivered meaningful results for thousands of workers across California and beyond.

After years at a prominent plaintiffs' firm, Thomas opened his own practice in 2023, choosing to specialize exclusively in employment law on behalf of workers. In 2024, he joined Southern California Attorneys, APC as an Of Counsel, bringing with him a depth of experience in complex wage and hour litigation. Courts have repeatedly approved Thomas as class counsel, recognizing his ability to represent class members fairly and effectively.

Thomas has helped secure over $15 million in class-wide settlements in employment and consumer cases, including Romano v. SCI, Inc. ($2.5 million for misclassified sales representatives) and Lopez v. Motel 6 Operating, L.P ($1.2 million for employees) 56-2020-00542312- CU-OE-VTA (Ventura Super. Ct. 2023). He has personally drafted contested class certification motions in numerous employment-related cases and regularly handles high-stakes litigation from inception through appeal. His mission remains consistent: to hold employers accountable and ensure fair compensation for the people who power their businesses.
